Plant-Person Interface Workshops

Connect Roads hosted a Plant-Person Interface Workshops at the M77/GSO Operations Centre and attended by 170 personnel, including client and sub-contract representatives. The workshops consisted of a classroom session followed by a practical demonstration to raise awareness of the risks associated with plant and people working in close proximity,  providing information and training to assist with the management of these risks. 

The workshops are now being considered for further roll out across the remainder of Scotland and clients who attended are considering adaptation for their own plant person interface risks. A great example of knowledge sharing to improve safety for Connect’s employees and partners.
